BELLY FOR BURLY!
Expand your burlesque repertoire with this exciting bellydance burlesque fusion class. Learn ways to mix fluid with percussive movements to create contrast & build tension in your performance. This is an Intro level class coupling signature Fishnet Follies burlesque movement with belly dancing basics. Taught by the amazing belly dancing and burlesque performer JEWEL OF DENIAL.

HOOP BURLESQUE!
Multi-tasking at its best…Hoop Burlesque! Tap into your seductive side! Burlesque is a beautiful, sexy art form that builds confidence and develops performance personality. When paired with Hooping, Burlesque takes on a whole new level of entertainment. Special tips will be shared about costuming, removal logistics, facial expression, choreography and music. This workshop will be a fun way to feel empowered by embracing and loving your body! Bring a hat (preferably a Fedora) and gloves. Valentina will have extra gloves to lend out. Wear something sexy but comfortable. This workshop is for Beginner Hoopers!

ABOUT VALENTINA
From San Diego
This versatile, vivacious, vaudevillian vixen, Valentina dazzles audiences around the world with her unique vision of circus dance fusion. Sharing her magic in both performance and workshops is her passion and drive. Valentina is a second generation belly dancer who was raised in the Los Angeles underground art scene by her mother, Leela, a successful theatrical belly dance icon. Valentina now blends belly dance with hooping, fire, burlesque, snake charming and aerial Lyra. Her ability to seamlessly combine these dance forms gives her a provocative style unlike any other. She is the leader of The Hoop Unit, a hoop fabricator and an event producer.

Open to women of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds, 18 years and older. No prior dance experience necessary! Wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch in. We will work out on bare feet.
